On-line course over Renal Toxicology

TOX-OER (Learning Toxicology through Open Educational Resources) is a project, which aims to design and develop an international Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Toxicology (See website).

For this reason, one the aims of this project are to design and customize an international MOOC on the Toxicology subject.

The objective of this course is to understand the adverse effects or disease states caused by toxic substances in the kidney. The main mechanisms involved in renal toxicity, the main toxicants responsible for the damage, as well as the current means used in diagnosis and treatment will be explained.
